River Run, Hudson River Valley, Upstate New York

Broadway producer owned a river-front view property on the Hudson River. An existing midmod ranch house was on the property but had been badly neglected prior to his purchase. He was considering building a new home on the property which sloped from the road down to river frontage.
After visiting the property, this inspiration came and was delivered. I called the home “River Run.”
The layout took advantage of the natural slope and wrapped around a 3 story open atrium which allowed a stream to run through the center of the home and spilled into a natural formed pool and leading the eye to the eventual view of the river beyond.
